An AI you can text at 2 in the morning
Most AI stops when you close your laptop. This one lives online and answers from your phone.
Here is the thing that changed how I work, and it is smaller than you would guess.
I can message my AI from my phone. It is not on my laptop. It lives on its own little computer, online, all the time. I text it the way I would text a person.
Why that matters more than it sounds
An idea shows up at a bad time. In the car. In line somewhere. At eleven at night when you are supposed to be done.
You tell yourself you will handle it tomorrow. You do not. It is gone.
Now I just send the message. “Pull the numbers for last week and have them ready in the morning.” Then I go back to my night.
By the time I sit down, it is done.
It is not a chatbot on your phone
Worth being clear about this, because the phone apps already exist and this is not that.
The apps talk. This one has my tools. It can look at real files, real orders, real numbers from the actual business. When I ask what happened yesterday, it does not guess. It goes and looks.
That is the difference between a helper and a search box.
The setup is a rented computer
You rent a small computer online for a few dollars a month. The helper lives there. It stays on when your laptop is closed, when you are asleep, when you are on a plane.
Then you connect it to a chat app you already use. We use Slack, so it shows up like a coworker in a channel. You could use something else.
That is the whole architecture. A cheap always-on computer and a chat window.
The honest part
This one is the most advanced thing on our site. It takes about forty five minutes and you will hit a snag or two.
